The Napa Native Experience specifically features three hand-selected wineries chosen by the team based on quality, hospitality, and personal relationships within the wine industry. Many of these wineries are family-owned or appointment-only properties where guests receive more intimate seated tastings, vineyard access, and educational experiences that go far beyond a standard tasting bar. The emphasis is on hidden gems, exceptional wines, and personal connections with the people behind the bottles.
Can I request specific wineries?
No, the Napa Native Experience itself is intentionally curated around the team’s insider recommendations and relationships. This allows us to create a more seamless itinerary and often introduce guests to wineries they may not have discovered on their own. For guests who would like to request specific wineries, we recommend our custom wine tour experience.
Can you share what wineries we will visit before we book?
No, this is something that changes based on date booked, party size, winery availability and group dynamic. Once you have booked, we will share a final itinerary for your day with all the information via email.
How will we be sure we are not visiting one of these wineries on a separate day?
This is highly unlikely and should there be any overlap once we send you the final itinerary, we will be happy to swap anything out that may be a repeat or double booking during your visit.
How many wineries will we visit?
The Napa Native Experience includes visits to three small-production wineries over the course of a full-day itinerary running approximately from 10 AM to 5 PM. The pacing is designed to feel relaxed and immersive rather than rushed, allowing time for meaningful tastings, conversations with winery hosts, scenic drives, and a chef-curated lunch alongside a local winemaker.
Do I need to make the tasting reservations?
No, our team handles everything including the reservation process for guests as part of the planning service, coordinating schedules, tastings, and timing to create a smooth day. This is particularly valuable in Napa Valley, where many sought-after wineries are reservation-only and can book weeks or months in advance during peak season.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Yes, we can accommodate dietary restrictions. During the booking process there will be a field that allows guests to convey this information.
Can you accommodate children or pets?
No, we cannot accommodate children or pets on this experience as the participating wineries are not child or pet friendly.
Are these wine tours crowded?
No. We intentionally avoids crowded bus-tour environments and large commercial tasting rooms. Tours are private or very small-group experiences focused on creating a slower, more personal atmosphere. Rather than cycling through packed tasting bars with large groups, guests enjoy seated tastings, private hospitality, and direct interaction with winery staff and winemakers whenever possible. The overall experience is designed to feel exclusive, educational, and relaxed, giving guests space to truly enjoy the wines and the setting without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.
