Raised among vineyards, Tyler Jackson was immersed in Napa Valley wine culture from an early age—an experience whose true value became clear in the spring of 2009, when he enrolled in his first viticulture course at Napa Valley College under the guidance of Dr. Krebs. That class ignited a deep passion for wine, prompting Tyler to leave his restaurant job and begin working hands-on at a local Napa Valley winery.
As he expanded his education in viticulture, enology, and wine marketing, his professional career advanced rapidly. By the age of 21, Tyler was managing a winery tasting room, leading educational tastings for groups of up to 40 guests, and sharing in-depth knowledge of estate-crafted wines and the artisan skill of winemaking. His tours became known for being both highly educational and deeply engaging—connecting visitors to the land, the process, and the people behind the bottle.
In 2013, Tyler produced his first vintage, crafting a small-batch Cabernet Sauvignon harvested from his family’s vineyard. This milestone marked a turning point, fueling a broader vision to showcase Napa Valley beyond the tasting room. Recognizing that much of the region’s culture, history, and lifestyle goes unseen by visitors, he set out to create something more meaningful.
